SlackGirl’s braces brought back so many memories. I won’t share as I don’t want to bore you with that but it was fun wearing them and taking pics. Nostalgic too. Available only for Catwa heads, I think it’s an “accessory” I’ll keep wearing. I just have to be careful when to smile. Ha!
“There are only two styles of portrait painting; the serious and the smirk.”
I just love that smirk on Annie.
SlackGirl told us she’s updating her website and needed a profile picture from her bloggers. At first I thought okay time to make a fancy close up using her fantastic make up of course. But I’ve decided I’d do something different. Something that would feel more “me” and more comfortable but still in her make up. So there you go…
PS: Since we’re on it, you can have a look at her website here.
“To enjoy the rainbow first enjoy the rain”
There is something so refreshing, so breath taking about rainbows, the array of colours all together can be just beautiful. I love when I get to see one, even though they are infrequent the rarity just makes me enjoy them even more.
Today’s post is called Rainbows and you will see an assortment of colours in the background of the picture aswell as the gorgeous blues of my outfit by Coco which I purchased yesterday at the Summerfest Event, I love bikinis but having this really cute hoodie to wear over it is an added extra which is awesome. I am beginning to adore the colour blue especially these light colour blues, who knows blue may even replace my other favourite colour pink lol.
“The first 5 years of a girl’s life, are spent playing with Barbies. The next 15 years are spent trying to look like one”
Welcome back everyone!
I had warned myself that this month would be a busy one, but it’s not even close to what I’ve imagined. New releases, new events, new sims, stores closing, others move, other re-open. I’m always trying to be up to date and keep up with everything but, oh well, you know how it is.
So speaking of events, Vintage Fair opens today! SlackGirl is in this round with a very interesting product. It is called LouLou and is a box, a flower, and eye make up. Box is resizable, flower is worn in the mouth (but can be moved if you want and turn into a hair accessory) and make up is available for Catwa/Lelutka/Omega and TMP mesh heads! All are sold together but can be worn separately.
When I tried them on, I instantly thought of barbie dolls in plastic boxes on shelves. I talked to my bestie Julie (I always ask for her advice, you should too, she gives awesome advice), and figured fine, let’s do a post about feminism and how women are treated like objects and pressure themselves to always look perfect and always look pretty and so on.
But I woke up this morning and thought, who really wants to read me rambling about all that?
SlackGirl participates with new beautiful mesh for your lovely heads. Sexy eye make up for your Catwa heads and a very special design for head accessory. Both are sold together but can be worn separately.
I was challenged to use Catwa’s Annie (she’s so cute and innocent looking to me) in erratic’s sexy lingerie and I wasn’t disappointed. Same way SlackGirl never disappoints her girls.
“In advertising, the effective frequency is the number of times a person must be exposed to an advertising message before a response is made and before exposure is considered wasteful.
The subject on effective frequency is quite controversial. Many people have their own definition on what this word means. There are also numerous studies with their own theories or models as to what the correct number is for effective frequency.”
I visited the new Jersey Shore event and was happy to come across the new release of SlackGirl. Beautiful eyeshadows (for Catwa, Lelutka and Logo/Omega) plus gems that you can edit, to use beneath your eyes and make them look even more glamorous and pretty.
At first, I figured I’d do a simple close up shot, so you ladies could see how beautiful they really are. Then I remembered that theory about effective frequency and thought, why not, let’s make a bunch. Theory might be true but, in my case, I only had to look at the make up once to know that I want it, like any other product made from SlackGirl.
Amara Beauty released this gorgeous skin for Catwa Mesh Heads (designed for Alice and Annie but I’d recommend trying demo in case you’re using different catwa mesh head) at the new We < 3 RolePlay round and combined with Damselfly’s newest release at the same event, the result was sublime.
Happy shopping and please let me know if theory is true. ❤
