I’ve included a lot of pictures in my post today only because I wanted you to see everything. If you scroll down the pictures below you’ll see a few decorated rooms which are the gacha set MINIMAL created for the Arcade.
Now here’s how this works. They offer a main skybox as a rare which is the one shown in picture 2 and then a bunch of others rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living room etc) as commons. If you get them all (or any of them), you can link them to the main skybox and expand it, make it look like an actual apartment!
But that’s not the best part. The skybox is interactive! More specifically, if you click on the telephone next to the lamp, you’ll hear something! Knock on the door and wait to see what happens also. Oh and the light switch, I dare you to click on it…! Just make sure you have your advanced lighting turned on and change your windlight to Midnight, or something…dark and spooky.
Hello world! Rebaned stands for “oh wow I did a picture with Miaa Rebane”. I just came up with it and you heard it here first, so each time you’ll use it, you’ll owe me 10 bucks so I can afford my fur addiction. They’re faux, keep your angry mail to yourselves, no animals were, or going to be, hurt.
So Miaa and I worked on a picture together. I was supposed to do the scene and she was in charge of our fashion look. The initial idea was different but eventually this is what we came up with. Now of course, if you want to see what the picture really is supposed to look like, go here and check her amazing version of it. And look, I debated a lot on posting mine or not. I was constantly asking myself: “What are you trying to prove here? Just keep yours away and enjoy Miaa’s for days”. But, out of the respect of the time she spent with me, she deserves to see it. And also I got some nerve!
Big, huge, enormous thanks to Miaa Rebane for joining me and for helping me broaden my fashion horizons. I know, I’m feeling poetic today.
Hello world! It’s been raining pretty much the whole day but it’s Saturday so I won’t complain. I also won’t ramble since that’s our deal in the weekends. I do have to mention the super talented Shocking Wonder who joined me for this picture, though. I’m sure you’re all familiar with her work already but, if not, have a look here.
Today’s post features a bunch of new stuff, so grab a snack and have a look at the credits below.
“Like time suspended, a wound unmended, you and I. We had no ending, no said goodbye. For all my life, I’ll wonder why.”
Hello and happy Thanksgiving to all of you Americans out there. While you’re enjoying your time off and your tons of food, I’m at work dealing with a chaos. So I’ll never forgive you for that and I will never forget! Hehe.
You probably won’t see another post from me for the rest of the week as I got a lot of work to do but hopefully, I’ll be back on Monday with some new stuff from Uber, Tannenbaum and District20! Yes, that’s a lot, so stay tuned!
Good morning! Guess who overslept and now is trying to catch up on everything she was supposed to do this morning? Yes, you got it right, me! I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately but I’m feeling incredibly tired. It gets harder and harder to get out of bed, harder to go to work, even harder to stay there and actually focus and work. Frankly, the only enjoyment lately is blogging. It can get exhausting as well but I guess I’m super addicted. I think vacation is the only solution here and I have nothing planned yet but I’m going to. I think it’s very important that I do, now more than ever.
Today’s post features a bunch of fancy stuff from Fancy Decor. A new release, currently at the Home Show and some older ones that you can grab at the mainstore. Have a look below for every thing used and have fun shopping.
That’s all for today folks. Have a great one and see you all next time.
Good morning world. Sun is back where it belongs. It is a beautiful, warm, sunny day today so I’m happy again. I have tons of things to do, especially today, so I won’t ramble at all and skip to the stuff.
The Arcade opens in a couple of days and there are many great designs for this round. I will start by showing the fancy stuff Fancy Decor created for the event. The collection is called Royce and the gacha consists of furniture and decor items as well. Everything is listed in the credits below but you can also have a look at the gacha key here. The rest of the items I used for this picture are also by Fancy Decor. Everything worked together perfectly. So enjoy your morning coffee by reading my long list of credits instead of the news for a change. Also, you can have a look at the Arcade’s June 2017 shopping guide here for previews of what to expect at this round.
That would be all for now peeps. Have a great one and I’ll see you all next time.
Good morning world. Happy Monday! Ugh, I’ve always believed these two words can’t be used together, but I’ll just play along. Someone once asked me, do you hate Mondays when you’re on vacation too? The answer is yes, maybe a little less, but I still do.
I was thinking this morning about the promise I made to myself. That this month I would take things slow, I would chill and post “every other day”. And here I am, 21 days later, posting everyday still and even twice a day sometimes. I can’t complain though, I love this. It might exhaust me and stress me very much sometimes, but I definitely can’t imagine my life without it.
I know for sure I can’t make the same promise next month as The Arcade is coming up, only 9 days left, and I’m part of the team now. I’m super excited about it but nervous at the same time. I want to cover the event the best way possible. There have been a lot of WIPs and previews from the event on social media and there is a line-up of brands participating which I’m going to share with you in the upcoming posts. Anyways, let’s move on to the stuff.
The hair I’m wearing is by TRUTH, called Cheri. It’s not a new release, I have blogged it before, but it’s an updated one. TRUTH released 3 new hairstyles at the mainstore last night and an updated version of this hair as well. So what’s new with the hair? Everything! The HUDs have been updated to include more textures and colors (suchs as Multitones) and you now also get a styling HUD. It is great work on their behalf and I’m loving each and every one of them. Here’s a screenshot of what the new HUDs look like and you can also read here for more details about the new release. So jump over the mainstore and try the demos out, you won’t be disappointed.
The collar I’m wearing is by SOUL and currently at the ROMP event. It is going to end in the next few days so you might want to hurry. Last but not least, the top and corset are part of the Pixie set Cellar Door released at WLRP.
That would be all for now peeps. Have a lovely one and I’ll see you all next time.
As you have probably noticed, I have started to create my own scenes for my pictures. It’s been probably a month that I have been doing so and I’m enjoying it so much. I started to do that because I was experiencing issues at sims. Apart from the fact that I like my privacy when I’m working and usually at the sims I would go to, someone would photobomb my pictures, my computer and graphics card wouldn’t allow me to take snapshots on ultra graphics and would eventually make me crash constantly. So finally, my gacha machines obsession, found its purpose. Ever since I’ve been a SL resident, I would always play decor gacha machines, even if it was stuff that didn’t look interesting or necessary to me. I would collect random pieces from each machine and store, because “one day I might need them”. Then, as soon as the opportunity came, I would put them all together to make something beautiful. Hopefully, I have succeeded in most cases.
The process usually takes me a couple of hours. Depending on how big my scene is going to be, plus, how many items I’m featuring in one picture. But trust me, it feels so good. Kind of like a puzzle game where you’re given different items and you have to make them all look like they belong together. Makes you become resourceful and come up with ideas that you would have never thought about before. Plus, it helps you grow. I mean, if you’re a blogger, why not start to work with items out of your style too and challenge yourself with something new?
As soon as my scene is ready, I take a small break and then try to think about where I am going to be in it. My goal is consistency. If it’s a kitchen, you don’t want to be in a gown. If it’s a beach you don’t want to be in lingerie. If colors match too, would be perfect.
So, enough rambling for one night. This post features a bunch of new releases, mostly decor stuff. I know the list of credits is super long, but come on. Given the amount of time I spent to create this scene, plus, writing all credits down and linking them to urls, you owe me to at least have a look. He he!
Have a lovely day/night everyone and see you all next time.
I should name this post “The forgotten one”. Apparently, I had made this picture and completely forgot about it. I don’t know how you SL bloggers do it (and I would be very interested to know actually) but for me, blogging is, sort of, a certain procedure. Take picture (currently, without crashing – my new challenge), edit it, upload it on WordPress, do credits and post. Then of course, sharing on social media follows. Flickr, Facebook, Plurk, oh my, what a chore. And lastly, in the zero time I have left, I need to catch up on posts from other bloggers and photographers that I really want to see. So where’s the problem?
I work minimum 10 hours every day. I only have the weekends left, to work on my posts. I rush them, force them and sometimes skip some releases, I really, really, want to make, because simply, there’s no time. A typical Sunday for me, means waking up, having breakfast and then head to SL to take as many pictures as possible, edit some of them and save as drafts for the rest of the week. Then throw them all in my “to be posted” folder and enjoy the rest of my day. This explains why I had totally forgotten about this picture. It features no new releases apart from the backdrop from TMD event and the pose which is made by the talented Tyler De’Leon and named after me (blushes). Single female poses which are very handy for bloggers actually. So make sure to check them out. By the way, since a couple of ladies have already asked me, it’s me in the images of his ad and I did the styling, so if you want the credits for them you can drop me a message and I’ll let you know.
So, instead of The Forgotten one, I decided to name this post Unstoppable. Firstly because, it describes my blogging experience so far. No matter the circumstances, blogging is so much fun for me that I just can’t give it up. Secondly I listened to Sia’s Unstoppable song last night and can’t get it out of my head. I love Sia!
That would be all for now lovely people. Have a nice day/night and be kind to one another.
