SlackGirl’s braces brought back so many memories. I won’t share as I don’t want to bore you with that but it was fun wearing them and taking pics. Nostalgic too. Available only for Catwa heads, I think it’s an “accessory” I’ll keep wearing. I just have to be careful when to smile. Ha!
“There are only two styles of portrait painting; the serious and the smirk.”
I just love that smirk on Annie.
SlackGirl told us she’s updating her website and needed a profile picture from her bloggers. At first I thought okay time to make a fancy close up using her fantastic make up of course. But I’ve decided I’d do something different. Something that would feel more “me” and more comfortable but still in her make up. So there you go…
PS: Since we’re on it, you can have a look at her website here.
“The trick to forgetting the big picture is to look at everything close-up”
I have said before how I’m new to the Catwa mesh heads and I’m more familiar with the Genesis Lab ones. It’s been a while now that I’ve been working with Catwa ones though and I have to admit, I’m really loving them. Also, the bad thing about mesh heads, at least for me, is how you can’t have just one. You will need more eventually and before you know it, you’re collecting them. Then you have a new problem, which is, what head to use more and which one you like better.
What comforts me is the difference between the heads. Genesis Lab are way too different than Catwa and so is Fiore, Logo and Lelutka. Our recent partnership with Kosmetik though, encourages me to work more with Catwa, Lelutka and Omega compatible mesh heads.
Newly founded store but so promising, has all sorts of make up for your head and nails. Much more to come in the future by the lovely and so kind Merr. So take a minute to visit and you won’t be disappointed for sure.
“The first 5 years of a girl’s life, are spent playing with Barbies. The next 15 years are spent trying to look like one”
Welcome back everyone!
I had warned myself that this month would be a busy one, but it’s not even close to what I’ve imagined. New releases, new events, new sims, stores closing, others move, other re-open. I’m always trying to be up to date and keep up with everything but, oh well, you know how it is.
So speaking of events, Vintage Fair opens today! SlackGirl is in this round with a very interesting product. It is called LouLou and is a box, a flower, and eye make up. Box is resizable, flower is worn in the mouth (but can be moved if you want and turn into a hair accessory) and make up is available for Catwa/Lelutka/Omega and TMP mesh heads! All are sold together but can be worn separately.
When I tried them on, I instantly thought of barbie dolls in plastic boxes on shelves. I talked to my bestie Julie (I always ask for her advice, you should too, she gives awesome advice), and figured fine, let’s do a post about feminism and how women are treated like objects and pressure themselves to always look perfect and always look pretty and so on.
But I woke up this morning and thought, who really wants to read me rambling about all that?
SlackGirl participates with new beautiful mesh for your lovely heads. Sexy eye make up for your Catwa heads and a very special design for head accessory. Both are sold together but can be worn separately.
I was challenged to use Catwa’s Annie (she’s so cute and innocent looking to me) in erratic’s sexy lingerie and I wasn’t disappointed. Same way SlackGirl never disappoints her girls.
“I told you I’ll be ready in five minutes, Stop calling me every half hour”
I’m sure you’ve all been there. You know, when you’re almost done, only need 5 more minutes but then you try this lipgloss or that earring on and inevitably, you’re fashionably (lol) late.
Fetching poses released 8 brand new poses, exclusive for the Tropical Summer event and one of them is Pretty Woman. The pose is the movie poster but I wanted to do something different and creative.
I was privileged to have Brad Zeurra’s help for this pose and his handsome Catwa’s Justin mesh head face was a great inspiration. He did wait long enough for the picture to be taken. And he did wait more for my make-up to be done.
Genesis Lab’s Alice mesh head animation was a perfect match for it. That smile of hers says it all.
Little bones participates in the new Arcade gacha round with a collection of amazing make up and deco props. All of them commons apart from the skybox and the hair. The interesting part is, some of the commons are animated, so wait until you add them on and watch your avatar put lipstick on or brush her hair.

One of the best things about being a blogger so far, has been the ability to mix and match products. It always fascinates me when I choose one specific product and have to dress accordingly. When I get to use new releases too, I’m so excited.
For example, Le Coq D’ or participates in this new round of Showroom with Grazy Clutches gacha. I picked my favorite clutch and then, had to think of the right dress, pose, hair etc that best showcase it.
Rezology makes some of the most amazing hairstyles one can find and, since I was going for a summer-y look, this topknot was the perfect fit. I know now, I can always count in Rezology every time I’m looking for diverse hairstyles.
Asteria released this new set of shirts and skirts (can be worn separately too) in many different colors for the new round of Cosmopolitan which complimented the rest of the outfit wonderfully. Bright colors, great textures and sexy designs.
Last but not least, Phedora’s newest release was exactly the kind of sexy and very feminine heels I was looking for to create this.
