It’s all about Uber today and my ladies helped me showcase them the best way possible. Once again I teamed up with the fabulous Shocking Wonder and Vega Arida so take a look below for everything you need to know and have fun shopping!
Which means Sweet Life in Italian. And that’s what I had in mind while I was setting this scene up. Have you been to Italy? I have and it’s beautiful. I liked almost every city I went to but Siena in Tuscany was my favorite. Milk Motion’s release for Collabor88 brought back some memories of that trip. I still remember all the beautiful alleys with the restaurants and shops under the big blue sky. I highly recommend it!
Good morning by the way!
Everything you need to know is written below so take a look and enjoy your shopping.
Uber is about to end so if you haven’t finished your shopping there, now is the time to do it. The Epiphany ends in a week also, so make sure you’re done shopping there as well. I’m bringing you some of the stuff available at both events today in case you need some motivation. The list is long so grab a coffee first and enjoy!
…which is pretty much the case for me lately. Good morning by the way! How was your weekend?
In my life, I’ve never suffered from insomnia. I knew the term and was familiar with what it means and in fact I often made fun of it, being all proud how I can never lose any sleep. But look at me now!
My RL has been very overwhelming the past few weeks. Looking for a new place to move, then dealing with all the stuff that need to be made for the new house, meanwhile working full time at my job. It’s a lot. And I have yet to organize them all, in my head at least, so I can finally find my peace and be able to sleep normally. Writing to you about it definitely helps though!
Anyways, today’s post is a fashion one and you know I’m not great at fashion posts but I still love them. One reason why is that I don’t have to write 3 pages of credits and landmarks. But don’t be happy for too long because I have more posts coming up!
“…nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road…”
Good morning world! And goodbye! I used up all my time to come up with a title for my post today so there’s no time for me left to ramble! I know, bummer! So, I’m going to let you have a quiet one instead and probably bother you tomorrow. Take a look at the credits below and happy Monday (ugh!)
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. That is a way to greet my readers. I was watching the Oscars last night and apparently, I have been influenced. I’m still at work and it’s a good one for a change but I still can’t stay for long and ramble.
So I’m going to let you check out the picture and read the credits for everything you need to know. In case I failed and you didn’t get the Retro vibe, the post features more stuff from the current round of Uber which is Mod themed. I’ve blogged more about it here, if you’re interested in learning more.
That would be all for now! Have a great one and I’ll see you all next time.
“At the end of the pier…I can stare out at nothing. After the sun goes down…I just hear the waves crashing.'”
Good morning world! I’m in a bit of a hurry so I’ll just get to the point! MOD! What is that? Right, I didn’t know either. Mod is short for Modern and is “a subculture that began in London in 1958 and spread throughout Great Britain and elsewhere, eventually influencing fashions and trends in other countries, and continues today on a smaller scale. Focused on music and fashion, the subculture has its roots in a small group of stylish London-based young men in the late 1950s who were termed modernists because they listened to modern jazz.” If that explanation wasn’t good enough for you, take it on Wikipedia!
The theme of the current Uber round is Mod and every brand participating stepped it up. You will get very cute hairstyles, some awesome skins and all kinds of fashion mod-inspired. There is of course a lot of decor brands as well, offering some interesting ideas for your homes, some of which I’ll show you in the upcoming posts. So stay tuned.
One of the reasons why I barely go to sims to take pictures is crash issues. I take my pictures on ultra settings but apparently that is too much for my poor computer to handle. I really hate it as it limits me photography/blogging wise but at the same time it challenges me too.
Using my studio is more convenient for sure but does keep me to myself. There are so many sims, especially winter themed ones now, perfect for photography, that I do visit but don’t even dare to take a picture in them. In fact, Soul Crimson recently made a list of all winter sims now available on SL. You can have a look at it here. Thank you Soul, that’s pretty awesome!
One of the sims in the list belongs to Kess Crystal, the awesome blogger I’ve been stalking for a while now. Oops, she probably didn’t know that but now it’s out, hehe. It’s called Take Heart and you should read her post on how she came up with it and more info about it. I visited her sim as soon as she opened it (I even had an early access to it, yay me) but the night that I did, I crashed 23 times trying to take a picture in it. I know, I know, don’t blame the sim, and I’m not, but don’t ask me to fix my computer or upgrade it or whatever. I can’t do it. Computers and their service belong to the list of things I will never understand nor am I willing to.
Surprisingly though, being the daredevil that I am, this time I tried my luck and revisited for this post. Panavia released a big, beautiful winter tree for the Draftsman event and as always, I was challenged to make an outdoors picture. Take Heart was the first sim that came in mind and phew, I was successful. Managed to take a couple of pictures without crashing once! You can find the landmark of it in the credits below. Make sure you stop by, you won’t regret it.
That would be all for now everyone. Have a nice day/night and see you all next time.
Life really has got so hectic for me recently from RL to work, to SL to making time to spend with the special people in my life and at times it feels a little out of control even though it’s all good stuff.
Blogging for me is some “me” time, something I love to do from creating the outfit, to thinking of the location to shoot the picture to editing the picture and credits, I love it from start to finish.
Today’s outfit is a combination from some amazing designers, the gorgeous CATWA Alice head, the sexy skin by Insol Marcela, the eyes a totally gorgeous colour by Mesange which is exclusively available at Mode St Andres which is a new Satellite store for Mesange which an awesome location so make sure to check it out. The outfit is by Noir Neige, naughty and sexy hehe with some super cute shoes by NoName, I finished off with the naughty girl pose by MEOW POSES which comes with the paddle, must admit I loved taking this shot. Always good for the “Good girl gone Bad” hehe which reminds me of one of my favourite songs by Rihanna which is here should you wish to have a listen too.
