“…nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road…”
Good morning world! And goodbye! I used up all my time to come up with a title for my post today so there’s no time for me left to ramble! I know, bummer! So, I’m going to let you have a quiet one instead and probably bother you tomorrow. Take a look at the credits below and happy Monday (ugh!)
Good morning everybody! Oh Friday, how much I love you! So, Flickr was down again this morning and I’m posting this later than usual – how dare you Flickr messing up with my routine – therefore no time left for me to ramble.
I’m going to make a quick mention to THOR’s build which is currently at 6th Republic, inspired by the state of Arizona and to the brand new round of Collabor88. This month, the theme is “Urban Gipsy” and the releases are many and fabulous. Consider this only a starter as there are a lot to come next.
“At the end of the pier…I can stare out at nothing. After the sun goes down…I just hear the waves crashing.'”
Good morning world! I’m in a bit of a hurry so I’ll just get to the point! MOD! What is that? Right, I didn’t know either. Mod is short for Modern and is “a subculture that began in London in 1958 and spread throughout Great Britain and elsewhere, eventually influencing fashions and trends in other countries, and continues today on a smaller scale. Focused on music and fashion, the subculture has its roots in a small group of stylish London-based young men in the late 1950s who were termed modernists because they listened to modern jazz.” If that explanation wasn’t good enough for you, take it on Wikipedia!
The theme of the current Uber round is Mod and every brand participating stepped it up. You will get very cute hairstyles, some awesome skins and all kinds of fashion mod-inspired. There is of course a lot of decor brands as well, offering some interesting ideas for your homes, some of which I’ll show you in the upcoming posts. So stay tuned.
Hello world! This is probably the first bathroom scene I’ve ever made and the best opportunity to let you know that I’m a huge bathroom fan. I think I spend more time in the bathroom than I do in the bedroom. Does that sound weird? Well, it’s true!
Ever since I was young, I would always do my homework in the bathroom or talk on the phone and I have also slept in the bathtub once! If that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will. I guess the fact that I’ve always had big bathrooms has something to do with it.
So, anyways, today, thanks to DRD’s new Shadow Box release, I got to decorate my own pretty little bathroom. If you’re not familiar with the Shadow Box yet, I’ve blogged everything about it here.
That’s all for now folks. Have a great one and I’ll see you all next time.
In winter of 1692, in the small Puritan community of Salem Village, Massachusetts, a group of young girls began acting strangely; Screaming and barking like dogs, throwing things about the room, uttering strange sounds, crawling under furniture and contorting themselves into peculiar positions; Behavior hardly becoming of young, virtuous maidens.
A town doctor was called onto the scene and after a thorough examination, he concluded quite simply – the Devil had come to Salem and the girls were bewitched. The task was clear: Whomever was responsible for this outrage must be brought to justice.
The girls named three townswomen as witches and a wave of hysteria spread throughout Salem. A special court convened to hear the cases and that June, the first convicted witch was executed, hanged in Salem’s Gallows Hill. Eighteen others followed, while some 200 more men, women and children were accused over the next several months.
By September 1692, the hysteria had begun to diminish and public opinion turned against the trials. Though the Massachusetts General Court later annulled guilty verdicts against accused witches and granted indemnities to their families, bitterness lingered in the community, and the painful legacy of the Salem witch trials would endure for centuries.
If you thought I wrote all the above, even for a minute, you flatter me big time! I don’t even know what “contorting” means! This is some information you get about the Salem witch trials, once you go to Salem event. Apart from this information, you can also get a bunch of new, cool stuff, some of which I’m showcasing today. Come on, you’ve made it this far, you can read the credits as well.

Good morning peeps! Weekend is finally here and even though I have to work today, I don’t care. It always feels better on a Saturday. The month is soon coming to an end and I’m not quite done yet with everything I wanted to show you, blogging wise, so I suppose you’re stuck with me for the next days, blogging every day and spamming you. Sorry in advance. Can’t speak for the pictures alone, but the items in them, are definitely pretty. So you’ll enjoy those at least.
Today I’m showcasing the new Abandoned Farm set 22769 made for the current round of WLRP, then some goodies Hive made as group gifts and FLF and Fameshed and last but not least, one of the group gifts DRD released this month too. They all worked together so beautifully.
Also, in this picture, I’m using Jay’s new windlight called, Down. If you still haven’t downloaded/used that, you’re missing out.
Have a look below for all the details and have fun shopping.
That should be all for now. Have a great day and see you all next time.
Good morning! In case you missed my post last night, you won’t really understand this one. So go ahead and read, as it explains everything about the new subscription box, Shadow Box, Death Row Designs released for this month. I’ve showed you the light version yesterday and obviously, this is the dark one.
All information about the Shadow Box can be found at their website, here.
Have a great day and see you all next time.

Good evening! I know this post is unexpected as I usually post in the mornings, but I plan on posting another one tomorrow. Yes, this is me keeping the promise I made to myself, posting every other day. Well, you can all join me and hate Blogotex together.
Shadow Box is the new concept brought to you by Death Row Designs. It’s a monthly subscription box, similar to the ones you’re familiar with already, like Luxe Box and Deco(c)rate. Here’s some more information about it from their website:
“It combines the mystery of getting something new and unknown once a month, with a bonus reward for purchasing a full series. Every Shadow Box contains twelve items created by Death Row Designs. Every series is 6 months, or 6 Shadow Boxes. At the end of a series the bonus reward becomes available to anyone who has received or purchased every box in the series.
The concept of Shadow Box is twelve unique products, six light or “normal” products and the other six are their dark or “abnormal” counterparts, or shadows. These items are not simple recolors. Every shadow has something unique about it ensuring you are receiving 12 unique items every month. Although every box stands on its own and can be used with or without the other months, a full series of six will reward you with not one, but two buildings at the end of the series. A light building and its dark counterpart, made specifically for that series, can be redeemed at no extra charge.”
You can read everything about Shadow Box and how to get it, here.
I will be posting the dark version tomorrow morning, so stay tuned!
Good evening! I’m not moving (even though I am considering moving to a new land in-world) but hive made these cute “making a move” items so the “moving” theme was necessary.
I personally love changes, whatever they might be. I don’t make them often, mostly because I’m a bit lazy and scared too (what if I change something that later, I regret?) but I totally support all the brave people who do.
Anyways, the new Hive stuff it’s gacha and you can now win them by playing the brand new Pocketgacha hud. If you still haven’t heard about it, you can read more here. I tried it and I recommend it, (it’s no secret that I’m a verified gachaholic).
That’s all for now peeps. Have a great one and see you all next time.
Good evening! I have spent the whole day at the beach today and I’ve never felt more relaxed. Well I have, but I also feel that I can exaggerate a little. If you haven’t swum in the Greek beaches yet, I highly recommend it. There’s something therapeutic about it.
I have also watched a lot of superhero series lately on Netflix, which probably explains my picture today. I love happy endings, don’t get me wrong, but I also had to use the new DRD stuff somehow. It is not actually new, it’s a remade item from their line with updated furniture, mesh and textures. And when it comes to textures and mesh, DRD know well what they’re doing.
Have a look below at the credits for more information and where you can currently find the items.
