Good morning world!

Today’s post was definitely a fun one as I got the chance to spend some time with my old time good friend Ninna! It’s been so long since we hung out together and I blame myself for that. You know how busy SL can get when you’re constantly working on pictures or creating.

But Ninna is an amazing lady. She’s always been there, trying not to disturb but showing she’s thinking of me and supporting me. And we go way back. I joined SL 3 years ago and she was one of the first people I met. I don’t even remember when or how. She probably does and she will be reading this now so I’m embarassed. Break Time…

The past few months for me have been intense in my Virtual life, blogging almost daily for a few months now, aswell as some personal journeys I have taken and it is time for me to take some well-earned and much needed time off, only a week so I can focus on things that have fallen by the way side, like the horrific mess my inventory has become of late (I can imagine Exis laughing at that fact), and for someone who is very ocd about being organised this becomes overwhelming lol.

Time to decorate my new house I’ve had for a couple of weeks yet not finished and time to chill out and have some fun, explore all the wonderful sims and go through tutorials in order for me to grow and learn more for my photography.

To say I am excited at the prospect is an understatement lol I am not disappearing, I will still be posting pictures and be around on Flickr etc as I experiment with new ideas etc I just will not be blogging the same way this next week.  You will however still have the amazing pictures and blogs of my partner in crime Exis so no worries there.

Imperfection is Beautiful…

Nobody is perfect in my opinion, my gorgeous Fiancé Lucifer pictured here with me always tells me I am perfect and I always reply “far from it baby”.   Perfection in a person is unachievable if you ask me and let’s face it who truly wants to be perfect?   That would be a lot of pressure to maintain lol for me imperfection is and can be beautiful, it’s different in all of us.

Yes I am a perfectionist and too much of an organised freak, as Exis describes me lol this would drive many crazy, hell it drives me crazy at times but it is what makes me who I am and love me or hate me I am not here to please everybody nor is that possible lol.

I just love the quote “We come to love not by finding the perfect person but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly”  I for one will happily settle for being an imperfect person being seen perfectly by someone who loves me ♥   I would like to say a huge thank you to my Fiancé Lucifer for the gift of this beautiful gown by Zaara, he took me shopping for it (I know ladies how lucky I am) when he wanted to do this pose.  I in turn took him to the wonderful Sim Elysion for the first time, was a beautiful night indeed.

The Hook-Up

It’s Sunday so I’ll spare you the long rambling. A few words about this post though, are needed.

For this post, I had the help of my very good friend Jose! He’s an amazing guy, whom I’ve known for a while now and working with him was so much fun! He’s not new to SL but he’s new to blogging, so I’m going to help him as much as I can, as I really think he’s good at it. You can have a look at his under-construction stream on Flickr here.

This project was inspired from the pose created by Badwolf for this round of On9. Obviously a pose created for a bar scene, it has been a nice challenge to make, even though it took a while to finish. Hope you all like the result!

The Break-up

This project was obviously inspired by JAPS pose named “We need to talk”. Everyone knows that when you hear that phrase, something’s wrong.

Now I’m not sure if I succeeded in this one, as seeing it now, I can’t tell for sure if I’m breaking up with Brad or he is with me.

By the way, you remember the wonderful Brad, right? I’m sorry ladies, I’m hiding his handsome face but you can have a clear look at him here.

So, I’d like to dedicate this to all heartbroken sweethearts out there and my message to them would be: everything happens for a reason and sometimes I takes a while but happiness does come.
