Sepia memories

Good morning world! So here I was editing this photo, trying to remove the sky and make it a nice blue-sky field landscape, when I accidentally hit “Calculate” in Photoshop and made my picture black and white. I’m probably known for oversaturating my images and making them colorful but oh man, I liked the B&W effect. I’m not sure if you will, since it’s completely different from what I usually make but there’s only one way to find out! I’m showcasing the new Blueberry group gift today, celebrating 7 years of the Blueberry brand – happy anniversary Blueberry – along … Continue reading Sepia memories

Departure from reality

Good morning world. Super glad it’s finally the weekend. I got a few plans but I’m feeling superstitious today, so I won’t share in case I jinx it. I will tell you all on Monday if everything goes as planned. Also I’m not supposed to ramble in the weekends so I’ll zip it now. Have a look at the credits below, they’re not many. Also, before I forget, the exchange for the rare Genesis Lab Sofie/Flor/Ethan bento heads has begun, join their in-world group to find out how to trade your non copy versions for copy and omega compatible ones. Have a look … Continue reading Departure from reality

Salt Box

On my Boudoir post I mentioned how challenging and interesting blogging a skybox is. Also, how time consuming! Clearly, I didn’t learn my lesson and had to challenge myself with something different this time. A whole house! Yes, Cobble Hill Design Studio participates in this round of On9 with a quite big, very beautiful, American architecture house, with a land impact of 98 prims. I realize that blogging it properly would mean, decorating it inside and out, taking a series of pictures and showing them all, but I’m afraid that was not possible with the limited free time that I … Continue reading Salt Box

Second U

Who doesn’t like magazines? Whether it’s fashion, lifestyle or you name it, magazines are definitely a huge part of our everyday lives. I recently read a very interesting article on the influence of magazines in the fashion industry. According to the author “the history of fashion magazines shows that fashion magazines have been linked to fashion in the early beginnings. It reflects that the driving force behind the growth of magazines, is fashion itself. Magazines have become an essential tool for keeping customers close as they pursue their decision journeys on the way to purchase”. It’s a theory that definitely … Continue reading Second U

Purplicious

Is it me, or ever since Catwa released her new head, there are Megan Fox(es) all over SL? Well, I won’t be any different, as I happen to find Megan Fox is really a fox! This fact though, had me thinking a lot about originality on SL. How original can one be after all and for how long? Yes, the mesh heads/bodies/clothes are plenty but isn’t it a matter of time before someone wears it exactly the way you do or sometimes, even better? Frankly, I don’t see anything wrong with that. People can be inspired by everything and everyone … Continue reading Purplicious

Restricted!

Yes! It is true. I just posted my first restricted picture. Who would have known?! I mean, I knew I would eventually, but I didn’t expect it to be so soon! For those of you that are not on Flickr, restricted image, means, a picture that is filtered, so people who have set their content filter settings there as safe and non-moderate or non-restricted, they wouldn’t see it. Oh well, their loss. This lingerie is from Erratic for the new round of Collabor88. The event is epic, it’s a birthday round and there are even more designers participating as guests. I … Continue reading Restricted!
