Good morning world! Back to work again today so I’m grumpy. It is Wednesday though and that makes me feel a lot better.

I had mentioned in one of my previous posts that I had been working on a project for the Holiday Issue of the Gallant Magazine. The magazine is released so now I can share it all with you. Well, not all, I only picked some of the pictures.

Mostly because some of the stuff in the pictures are still currently at events but also because the whole point is to read the magazine!

So, my project was to create a winter lodge. Divos provided some boards for me from pinterest with pictures that would inspire and motivate me. He also had the build ready. And a pretty big one!

At this point, I want to mention that this has been the very first time I worked on something that huge and demanding. The fact that Divos trusted me with this project, showed me faith and support meant a great deal. I felt that I had to do a great job and not let him down. But, working more than full time and taking on a project like this, can be challenging.

I had to sleep for only 3-4 hours every night in order to finish the decorations and as soon as that part was over, take the pictures. And you know I’m weird right? I changed the bedroom decoration twice and the bathroom’s and kitchen’s thrice. Yes. And I still don’t like them 100%!

I’m not saying all these to complain. Not at all. I knew what I was getting myself into. It was a stressful experience but which activity that involves a deadline, isn’t? I think the satisfaction I’ve gotten after everything was ready and all the nice and kind comments I received from many of you are worth it more. Plus, it’s one more experience. It helped me become more resourceful, creative and grow as a blogger.

Most of the items used in the pictures are fairly new or still currently at events, the Arcade and Fameshed.

Featured designers are Apple Fall, Hive, Dust Bunny, 22769, Soy, Consignment, Trompe Loeil and many more. Both the mentioned events are about to end soon though so you don’t have time all the time in the world. I would suggest visiting page 267 of the magazine for all the detailed credits. They took me a while to write down so you kind of have to read them.

The whole build is at the Gallant Estates sim which is now open to the public and will remain open until the 2nd of January. I would like to encourage you all to visit and see the works of other fellow bloggers and decorators there, take your pictures and tell me your opinion on everything, by leaving a comment below. I will include all the important SLUrls and links at the end of this post.

Last but not least, I want to thank Divos for his tremendous support and encouragement all this time. He’s a wonderful person and I’m lucky enough to call him a friend now. He’s pretty hot too! Big thanks to Julie and Alexa also, for offering me an ear to complain to and a providing me with a hug when I needed one. And big thanks to all of you for reading and supporting me for so long. I appreciate it a lot!
