Good morning! Last night I realized that, this month, I have been blogging daily. Yes, there hasn’t been a single day in April where I didn’t post a picture and I’m a bit proud of myself. It’s not the greatest accomplishment in the world for sure, but thinking about how limited my time is and how hard for me is to concentrate sometimes, I think I will buy myself an ice cream today.
Do I recommend blogging daily? Absolutely not! I believe that, no matter how skillful you are, when you massively produce, whatever that is, your quality, inevitably will be affected or you will make mistakes. Blogging wise, it could be anything. Wrong credits, forget to add something you wanted to your scene, a very bad editing of a picture etc. If you can do it, that’s great. I admire you for that. I personally have realized some mistakes I’ve made only because I rushed a post (which I won’t point out as you might have not noticed them, hehe) or I see some pictures I have posted and wonder what I was thinking. I could have edited them better or worked on a scene differently.
Noone forced me to post every day, I know. I believe it was an unofficial challenge I put myself through, to see if I can make it. And I’m planning on finishing it. I will continue to post daily until the end of the month, but after that, I will try to go back to “every other day”. I said I will try, because I know me, it won’t be the first time that I will break my own promises. I know for sure though, that I have to relax a little. This has started to feel overwhelming again and I need to be enjoying it.
Anyways, today’s post will be the last one featuring stuff from Bloom. The event ends on Sunday and I believe I covered pretty much everything from it. I’m kidding, there’s still plenty of goodies for you to see and grab. It has been a blast covering the event, mostly because I got to make a lot of spring-y, outdoorsy scenes. They’re new to me, very interesting and challenging. The rest of the stuff is new releases from 22769 from the new Shiny Shabby round and some FLF goodies from Hive.
