Good morning world! Guess who’s overslept and is definitely going to be late for work? Yes, me.
I thought this through and discovered that I always want to sleep more on Fridays. I will google this of course (same way I google everything) but I think it kind of makes sense. It’s the end of the week, you’re reluctant to go to work and you’re struggling to wake up. I also discovered that I’m a creature of habit. I already knew that, but I was hoping that would change as I’m growing older. I basically do the same thing every morning. Get out of bed, brush teeth, make breakfast, eat whilst checking on other blogs/pictures/posts etc, prepare my own post, post it and go to work. I’m trying to be a rebel though, only because I want to tell myself I broke the routine so I will usually change my breakfast, and then go “ha, in your face cereal!”.
But trying to think of a life without a schedule or a routine, I don’t think I would survive it. I think most people work that way. We need to know what’s going to happen in the near future so we can plan our lives/schedules accordingly. It does get boring after a while but what I usually do is, change the schedule a little bit. And even though I know I’m going to change something, I always surprise myself with what that would be. For example, I have orange juice instead of a smoothie. I drive myself to work but choose a different route for a change. I wear a blouse that I have never worn before to work. Maybe that will help you a little to feel like, today’s going to be different.
Today’s post is pretty minimal. Speaking of MINIMAL, I enjoyed his Epiphany backdrops a lot, one of them I’ve used for this picture. The top is by Addams.
