Good morning peeps. Friday is finally here and it was about time. I thought this week would never end. It is very interesting how some days or weeks feel super long, isn’t it? I suppose, it depends a lot on how busy your everyday schedule is but I wish there were days I had a magic remote time controller and was able to speed up time or slow it down or pause it. It would be very cool if that was possible right now, I would skip all the way forward to August.
Today’s post features the new skin applier from Genesis Lab for Sofie bento head. Her name is Carmel, she’s available in all skin tones and currently waits for you at Shiny Shabby. She comes with her own shape and of course she will apply on your other Genesis heads as well. So make sure you try demo.
The necklace is from evoLove for the new round of Tres Chic. I’m very proud of June and how she keeps getting better and better with her mesh.
I guess that would be all for now! Have a lovely day and I’ll see you all next time…
Good morning! Last night I realized that, this month, I have been blogging daily. Yes, there hasn’t been a single day in April where I didn’t post a picture and I’m a bit proud of myself. It’s not the greatest accomplishment in the world for sure, but thinking about how limited my time is and how hard for me is to concentrate sometimes, I think I will buy myself an ice cream today.
Do I recommend blogging daily? Absolutely not! I believe that, no matter how skillful you are, when you massively produce, whatever that is, your quality, inevitably will be affected or you will make mistakes. Blogging wise, it could be anything. Wrong credits, forget to add something you wanted to your scene, a very bad editing of a picture etc. If you can do it, that’s great. I admire you for that. I personally have realized some mistakes I’ve made only because I rushed a post (which I won’t point out as you might have not noticed them, hehe) or I see some pictures I have posted and wonder what I was thinking. I could have edited them better or worked on a scene differently.
Noone forced me to post every day, I know. I believe it was an unofficial challenge I put myself through, to see if I can make it. And I’m planning on finishing it. I will continue to post daily until the end of the month, but after that, I will try to go back to “every other day”. I said I will try, because I know me, it won’t be the first time that I will break my own promises. I know for sure though, that I have to relax a little. This has started to feel overwhelming again and I need to be enjoying it.
Anyways, today’s post will be the last one featuring stuff from Bloom. The event ends on Sunday and I believe I covered pretty much everything from it. I’m kidding, there’s still plenty of goodies for you to see and grab. It has been a blast covering the event, mostly because I got to make a lot of spring-y, outdoorsy scenes. They’re new to me, very interesting and challenging. The rest of the stuff is new releases from 22769 from the new Shiny Shabby round and some FLF goodies from Hive. So take a minute to read the credits below for more details.
That also explains the post’s title. It’s my “Perpetual Journey” to the world of blogging. I didn’t know what perpetual means and had to google it. It will be my word of the day. Off to work now! Have a lovely day and be kind to one another. See you all next time.
Good morning world! To be completely honest with you, this is a quickie post! If you’re paying attention to detail and have a good memory, you’ve probably noticed already that I’m wearing the same outfit I had on my Relatively Pink post. The hair is different of course, and the background. Which is basically what the post is about as well.
The hair is a new release by Tableau Vivant at Kustom9 and comes in two different versions, this and a shaved one on the side. If you zoom in on it, you can tell that I drew some hair strands on it. I know it’s amateur work but I’ve been enjoying playing with it so far. Don’t judge too hard, I’m still learning. And trust me the hair is gorgeous, didn’t need my strands, I only felt a little creative.
Also, as promised before, this picture’s zoomed in so you can finally see better the necklace by Kunglers from WLRP event. It’s available in more, different colors of course and it’s really beautiful! Last but not least, the backdrop is from MINIMAL, from their Epiphany gacha, a common and one of my favorite.
That’s all for today people. Have a great one and be kind to one another. See you all next time.
Good morning world! The sky is so blue today and I’m loving it! It was about time we had some nice weather, as the last couple of weeks have been cold and moody! But May is only a few days away…!
Today’s post features a lot of goodies from Bloom. The event closes at the end of this month so you might not want to take your time. To be honest, this was one of the first posts I’ve been meaning to make for it but I never liked the result. I made this picture three times until I decided to post it. There are a lot of stuff in it and I wanted an angle that would best showcase everything but each time I would get bad shadows or just a wrong frame. I finally decided to go with this one which, is not my favorite one but, I think it’s better than the others.
The list of the credits is long but I know you’ve been looking forward to reading something whilst having your morning coffee…so..you’re welcome!
That’s all for now peeps! Have a lovely day and be kind to one another. See you all soon.
Good morning world! The people that read the title and know me, will probably think I’ve gone crazy. My answer to that is, I’ve always been crazy, you probably noticed just now! But let me explain what I mean.
I spent pretty much the whole day yesterday, working on scenes. Outdoorsy ones since it’s the Spring so most items require for an exterior decoration. Well, newsflash. Creating your own custom landscape/scene is hard and time consuming! I made two scenes to take pictures in and took me around 2 hours to make each one of them. I doubt this is the case for everyone, as factors like experience and taste play huge role in this but it did make me think about all the LOTD posts I see on Flickr and how cool it would be to make one. I won’t say easy. I’m not saying LOTD posts are necessarily easier to make, I’m only saying they require less time. Fewer things to worry about therefore less time spent.
I also understand that styling is the only thing you have to worry about when making a LOTD post. The more items you combine, mix and match, the better. And you always need a nice background, something consistent with the colors or the theme of your outfit. Which probably also explains why backdrops on SL are so popular.
That all being said, I still stick to my own scenes though. I can’t imagine myself blogging, by only posing and looking stylish and pretty under a crystal clear windlight. There has to be a scene complimenting the outfit or the theme of the picture. It doesn’t always work, I’ve come to terms with that fact, but practice makes perfect, people! Looking back at what my scenes looked like in the past and comparing them to my current posts, there has definitely been improvements. Which encourages me to try harder and get better on each post.
But since I was too worn out to make a scene for this particular one and since I spent money on the backdrops from The Epiphany, there you go. It definitely requires less time crediting each item on the picture, so I’m sure you will definitely appreciate the small list of credits today.
That’s all for now peeps! Have a lovely day and be kind to one another. I’ll see you all next time.

Good morning world! It is the weekend and I bet you’re all excited just like me. Lots to do this weekend for me, so it’s not going to be a lazy one, but it still feels great. Also I’m not supposed to ramble today, so here we go. Hara and I teamed up to make a picture featuring Addams’ releases for the Epiphany. Not the first time I work with Hara on a picture and it’s so much fun every time. Especially for this one, she kept making me laugh and made it hard for me to focus. But no, in this case, that is a good thing! I had an amazing time and I’m looking forward to our next one!
This releases consists of a lot of things. Bodysuits, shoes, necklaces, bracelets and armchains! A total of 55 gacha goodies, 9 of which are rares. You can have a better look at the gacha key here. Make sure you check Hara’s blog for her credits and version of the picture. It’s beautiful.
That’s all for now peeps. Have a lovely day and be kind to one another.
Good morning world! Guess who’s overslept and is definitely going to be late for work? Yes, me.
I thought this through and discovered that I always want to sleep more on Fridays. I will google this of course (same way I google everything) but I think it kind of makes sense. It’s the end of the week, you’re reluctant to go to work and you’re struggling to wake up. I also discovered that I’m a creature of habit. I already knew that, but I was hoping that would change as I’m growing older. I basically do the same thing every morning. Get out of bed, brush teeth, make breakfast, eat whilst checking on other blogs/pictures/posts etc, prepare my own post, post it and go to work. I’m trying to be a rebel though, only because I want to tell myself I broke the routine so I will usually change my breakfast, and then go “ha, in your face cereal!”.
But trying to think of a life without a schedule or a routine, I don’t think I would survive it. I think most people work that way. We need to know what’s going to happen in the near future so we can plan our lives/schedules accordingly. It does get boring after a while but what I usually do is, change the schedule a little bit. And even though I know I’m going to change something, I always surprise myself with what that would be. For example, I have orange juice instead of a smoothie. I drive myself to work but choose a different route for a change. I wear a blouse that I have never worn before to work. Maybe that will help you a little to feel like, today’s going to be different.
Today’s post is pretty minimal. Speaking of MINIMAL, I enjoyed his Epiphany backdrops a lot, one of them I’ve used for this picture. The top is by Addams. It’s a top that can change to a bra as well and will fit almost all of Addams-wear. Many colors and female mesh body sizes available too, all currently available at Collabor88. Tattoo is from Nanika, available in black and white colors, at the Cosmetic Fair.
That’s all for now peeps. Have a lovely day and be kind to one another.
