I had a client yell at me at work yesterday. Not just yelled at – at some point he was screaming at me, for about 30 minutes. Security had to actually come over and remove him from the premises. And the worst part is, he was completely right. Due to bad customer service, he got upset and totally snapped. But he had good reason to complain and lose it. Was that the right way to do so? No, of course not. I’m not one of those people that function well under yelling and pressure. It basically ruined the rest of the day for me, but it also got me thinking. Recognizing your mistakes, realizing and owning them, might be hard to do, but actually makes you a better person. Helps you learn from your mistakes and prevent you from repeating them. Day ended nicely. No one got fired, no one got hurt. Apart from my pride.
What does this have to do with my post today? Absolutely nothing. But it’s a nice opportunity to send a message to those willing to receive one. It’s OK to make mistakes. We’re only human. It’s important to own up to them, make things right (if possible) and don’t repeat them though.
This round of Uber takes us to Tokyo. If you haven’t been yet (to Uber, not Japan) you should know that you will find lots of goodies from many stores, all Tokyo inspired. And for a person like me, that likes to constantly change looks and challenge herself with new themes, this round was amazing. Quick mention to: the hair, which is new from TRUTH, includes the mask but it’s optional to wear it. There are two hair releases from TRUTH actually, the second one I’ll show in another post. The skin applier is new from Genesis Lab. Comes with a shape for Eva bento head (could work on the Lena one as well, but I haven’t tried it personally so not sure what that would look like) and combined with the skin applier, it gives you a beautiful Asian face.
The shoes are also from this Uber round by friday. Lovely platforms available in many colors. For the scene I used MINIMAL’s release at the event. It’s 4 (or 5? – not sure) backdrops and not gacha for a change. You can actually buy them separately.
