As you have probably noticed, I have started to create my own scenes for my pictures. It’s been probably a month that I have been doing so and I’m enjoying it so much. I started to do that because I was experiencing issues at sims. Apart from the fact that I like my privacy when I’m working and usually at the sims I would go to, someone would photobomb my pictures, my computer and graphics card wouldn’t allow me to take snapshots on ultra graphics and would eventually make me crash constantly. So finally, my gacha machines obsession, found its purpose. Ever since I’ve been a SL resident, I would always play decor gacha machines, even if it was stuff that didn’t look interesting or necessary to me. I would collect random pieces from each machine and store, because “one day I might need them”. Then, as soon as the opportunity came, I would put them all together to make something beautiful. Hopefully, I have succeeded in most cases.
The process usually takes me a couple of hours. Depending on how big my scene is going to be, plus, how many items I’m featuring in one picture. But trust me, it feels so good. Kind of like a puzzle game where you’re given different items and you have to make them all look like they belong together. Makes you become resourceful and come up with ideas that you would have never thought about before. Plus, it helps you grow. I mean, if you’re a blogger, why not start to work with items out of your style too and challenge yourself with something new?
As soon as my scene is ready, I take a small break and then try to think about where I am going to be in it. My goal is consistency. If it’s a kitchen, you don’t want to be in a gown. If it’s a beach you don’t want to be in lingerie. If colors match too, would be perfect.
So, enough rambling for one night. This post features a bunch of new releases, mostly decor stuff. I know the list of credits is super long, but come on. Given the amount of time I spent to create this scene, plus, writing all credits down and linking them to urls, you owe me to at least have a look. He he!
