Immortal Mona Lisa

Constant change. That has been my motto since day 1 of blogging. One of the reasons why I love Secondlife is the opportunity to look different all the time. In my real life I’m stuck with the face I was born with and I’m happy with it (sometimes), so I don’t plan on changing it. But on Secondlife, I can be anything I want to be. This has been a great challenge for me. Changing my appearance all the time, creating different looks, some unique, other common. It is an expensive hobby, I won’t lie. If you’re not blogging for mesh head creators and bodies or skin appliers and you have to actually buy everything you like, can be heavy on your pocket. I have spent a ridiculously large amount of money so far and I don’t see myself stopping that. Even though I have my favorites, it’s hard to choose and only stick to one.

Today’s post features some new releases from We Love Role-Play. My initial idea was to be a vampire again. YS&YS’ super white skin encourages that. Then I saw the creations by Enfant Terrible and Salt & Pepper and knew I had to do it. But instead of the vampire I had in mind, the raw, blood-thirsty one, I decided to make her look more classy and kind of elegant. Nanika’s tattoo from Crossroads complimented her look perfectly.

So whether you’re a freak like me or not, even if you can’t afford to buy all different heads/bodies/skins, I highly recommend experimenting with your looks. You can always have your default favorite ones but, in my opinion, every now and then, feels good changing it a little.
