Sometimes, I’m having such a hard time, naming my posts. Usually I get inspired by something I wear or showcase in them. But there are days when nothing seems appropriate or right. Like in this case, I really didn’t want to name my post, Parka. I called it rust out, as the tones in the first picture, kind of reminded me of the color of rust. My first option was Rusty feline, as the panties and glasses have a leopard print, but I figured people would think that’s my nickname or something.
Today’s post is featuring the new releases by Addams. The beautiful parka which was released a couple of weeks ago and it’s available at the mainstore as well as the Geri Spice dress, available currently at Rewind event. At this point I want to share my experience about this post. Blogging a parka, is not easy. It gave me a hard time, as posing in it, is quite limited. I mean, you can always animate your body in it, sit down, lay down, bend over, fly or whatever but the jacket won’t look completely natural in this positions. You know when sometimes you’re wearing a long skirt or a gown and when you sit down it surrounds your body but looks completely weird and unnatural? It is what it’s supposed to do but I really don’t like seeing that in pictures. So all I was left with, was only standing poses. Of course there’s nothing wrong with them, but I’m used to working with more intricate and complicated ones. Standing there, didn’t really feel like me.
The hair I’m wearing is a new release by Tableau Vivant. It’s a beautiful updo, with an optional bow on it. It is currently at Collabor88, where you can also grab another style, a ponytail and hairbases for Lelutka heads. The hair of course will work on other heads too, but so far, Tableau Vivant has released hairbases only for Catwa and Lelutka. You can always play with your current head’s tintable hairbase to match the color of the hair you like.
