TGIF! The weather in Athens is driving me crazy lately. One day it’s really warm, sunny and nothing like what it was supposed to be during this time of year. The next day we have heavy storms, cold temperature and cloudy sky. I don’t know if it happens to you as well, but my mood is strongly determined by the weather. Or at least that’s the excuse I’ve come up with for my constant mood changes. On Fridays though, regardless the weather, my mood is always good.
I don’t have something in particular to share with you so I’ll just get to the point. Décor. This post is for my friend THOR for his release at 6th Republic Event. Concept of the event is Amsterdam versus Australia. Designers gathered up and chose a country to “represent” and be inspired from. Event’s sim is pretty cool too. On one side you have the Australia participants and on the other one the Amsterdam ones. My first thought was, why is it a city against a whole country, but who really cares, right? According to the event’s website: “For each round and theme we will draw inspiration from different corners of locations around the world; a way to travel and convey to people through decoration.” I’m really looking forward to the next ones. Thor is participating on behalf of Amsterdam. His release is titled Old Dirty Coffeeshop. You will see all of the designs one by one listed in my credits below but here’s the Notecard Thor includes in his full set:
“[…]this set is composed by 21 items (for the complete setup), all modifiable and copyable.
-lamp with script that allows turning on and off, change the intensity of light (glow), change the color of light (via menu) and many other customizable features: hold the click on for 5 seconds on the object and display the menu with all options, or, more simply and definitively, change the parameters inside the notecard (configure default) which is in the object, so that each time you turn on, or rez, the parameters you prefer don’t change.
– sink with a script in the faucet that allow to have the water animation (between the faucet and the sink) and a menu for choose some options as the kind of water, bubbles, different kinds of sounds etc, plus doors that open and close, allowing to be able to be decorated or filled inside, just click on it for work, or hold on for some seconds for have the menu.
– the barrel, the candlestick phone, and the yellow pages, have a touch sound and the little camp stove just turn on/off clicking on.
the cup of stoner tea and the pots have an on/off system for the steam all other objects, are no scripted, and were made with attention to every detail to have a set up to the quality that I strive always, so have a good time with this and have fun![…]”
The outfit consists the new releases from Dead Dollz, Nanika and Fame Femme. Skin I’m wearing is a new release from Pumec which you’ll have a better look at in my future posts.
