I finally got home from work, I’m posting this and then I need to start packing as soon as possible. I need to be at the airport in a few hours and even though I’m a Virgo (insanely organized, neat and with huge OCD issues) I still manage to make a mess out of everything and almost always, be late. To prove my point, right now, my bed is covered with clothes and things I want to take with me. I don’t know how you all pack your luggage, but what I do is very simple. Take everything out of the closet, then staring at them for a few minutes and then throwing them all in the suitcase. Of course folded and according to color. That should take me a couple of hours at least. Then I need to make the standard passport/wallet/I.D. and things-you-must-not-forget check and I’m good to go. Of course, as soon as I’m in the car, I start wondering if I packed this and that, driving myself crazy, until I reach the airport and realize that it’s now too late to go back and check. Yes, I told you I have issues…! He he.
The past three days I made 6-7 pictures as I wanted to show everything before I leave for Paris. It exhausted me though. I can’t say I’m not relieved that I will put the camera down and won’t go online for a few days. Will I miss this? Hell yeah, but right now I think my mind needs to rest. I know I will be back before I realize and vacation days usually come by dramatically fast, but I don’t care. Even being at the airport excites me. The love I have for airports is another issue which we can dwell on another post.
So bottom line is, I’ll be gone for a few days but please know that I will think about you all …(well probably not, but can you blame me? It’s Paris! lol). I can relax knowing that my beautiful, awesome bestie Jules will keep the blog busy with her amazing posts anyways.
So, a few words for this picture are needed. My main goal for this one was to showcase the beautiful creations by my friend THOR for the Shiny Shabby round. What amazes me most about THOR is the fact that, even though I’m not a decor blogger, he still treats me like I am and in fact, a very good one. That makes me want to work harder on his products and make him proud. Also, I love how easily it is to coordinate his designs with others and make a beautiful scene in only a few minutes.
