What I love most about Elysion is how it meets all styles. You can find so many spots to pose and take a picture. Also, you can rez in it. Group join is required, and not for free, but hey, we have to keep the sim running! One funny thing about this sim, is how you run into people you’ve interracted with on Flickr or other social media. Happened to me yesterday, as I was posing there, minding my own business, I came across so many familiar faces and names. Later on I realized that I am following these people on Flickr.
When I joined SL a few months ago, Jules, who’s been on SL longer than me, actually told me “SL is so much fun, but not as sociable as you would expect it to be. You hardly ever meet people or see someone twice”. She has a point. SL is huge, so many stores, events, clubs, and sims in general, that the chances of running into someone twice, are very small.
I beg to differ now though. Photography sims and especially the Elysion, are a bloggers dream. I say, you want to meet people? Probably the ones you see and admire on social media too? Well, most likely they will hang out in picturesque sims. I know it’s happened to me twice already, so I think it’s very possible!
If you ever run into me, please say hi. If I don’t answer back right away, I’m probably struggling with styling, decorating (only recently) or windlighting. So the best case scenario (for me), you can actually give a hand. Lol.
