Constant struggle.
That’s the case with me lately with blogging. I’m so overwhelmed with all the ideas in my head (I swear, sometimes, I feel like another Joan of Arc, I hear voices in my head, telling me what to wear and how to pose). This picture is another example of it.
Lybra participates in new round of Crossroads with this lovely dress, which in most cases and for most bloggers would be so easy to work with, pose in it and showcase it, but to me, no, it had to test my limits.
I don’t blame the dress, no. I blame me and my standards. I’ve realized that, the more I’m blogging, the less satisfied I am with my work. I feel I can always do better, I feel like there are tons of options, poses and windlights I could use, but I’m only sticking to one, my safe choice.
I took 3 pictures of this dress, in different windlight, different sims and using different background. Spent basically the whole day yesterday, whereas in other projects, in one day I would have made at least 3 pictures!
I was sending them all to Jules, one after the other, asking her what she thinks, of course she loves me too much so she likes everything I make but I still wasn’t happy. Jules calls it exhaustion. She is probably right.
Speaking of exhaustion, due to family reasons, I won’t be leaving for vacation. Guess you’re all stuck with me, he he! But, new events and releases are coming very soon so I know I will be busy. On the top of my head, Catwa’s releasing new mesh head in her mainstore very very soon, called Amelie, Genesis Lab participates with new mesh head, Mariko, in Bon Voyage and of course, The Liaison Collaborative opens today and Collabor88 tomorrow, which actually is a birthday round so it’s going to be huge. So excited!
Have a nice day everyone.
